All homes at Baldwin Place are on full municipal services, are built to exacting standards and incorporate the following fine quality features:
    Energy Efficiency
  • All homes are computer modelled to insure a minimum energy efficiency rating of 80, utilizing NRC approved Hot2000 software.
  • Modelling is performed at time of permit application, incorporating any options chosen by the purchaser, to insure a minimum 80 energy efficiency rating is obtained.

  • 9" poured concrete basement walls with upgraded full height R12 foundation blanket on the interior and dampproofing with solid pvc foundation wrap and perimeter weeping drains with sealed pit and pump.
  • 8' high walls provide a full height basement.

  • Exterior –2"x4" kiln dried wall studs 16" on centre with R5.5 insulating sheathing on exterior reduces the effect of heat moving through solid framing, (eliminating thermal bridging) and combined with R14 batt insulation in walls (total R19.5), produces 10% less heat loss than conventional 2” x 6” wall construction.
  • Interior - 2"x4" kiln dried wall studs (achieves straighter walls and reduces screw pops) 16" on centre with 1/2" drywall
